Scott-Macon Equipment, headquartered in Houston, Texas, is one of the oldest privately-held lifting equipment rental and distribution companies in the United States. Through branch offices in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, Scott-Macon Equipment is involved in the sale, rental and servicing of cranes and related lifting equipment primarily in the Gulf Coast.

They serve as an authorized dealer and distributor for Terex’s line of lifting equipment including rough terrain cranes, American and Demag crawler cranes and Demag All-Terrain cranes as well as Terex Genie aerial lift platforms, material handlers and Terex boom trucks.

Scott-Macon management determined that efficiency and profitability would improve when supported by a fully integrated business system with capabilities specifically designed for equipment dealers and rental firms. In addition, the company decided that outsourcing the day-to-day management and support would allow them to better focus on effective management of the business.
