As we near the end of 2022, we know that businesses everywhere are making their final purchase decisions for the year and finalizing budgets for next year. We gathered some information on Section 179 of the IRS tax code, which allows businesses to make deductions of the full purchase price on items such as equipment or software. The e-Emphasys team based in the Cary, NC headquarters kicked off summer 2022 with a trip to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. We enjoyed spending time with our team-members and their spouses and partners as the Bulls took on the Gwinnet Stripers on Friday, May 13. Everyone had fun reuniting over hot dogs and kettle corn in person with coworkers after two years of working from home, and the home team won!
