COVID-19 impact on the dealership and rental industry
At e-Emphasys we recognize and sympathize with our customers that are facing uncertain futures due to the effects of this pandemic. We also recognize that for some of our clients, they are facing even busier times than usual. That’s why, e-Emphasys is working diligently in order to provide our customers will the tools and knowledge they need to keep their business up and running.
e-Emphasys is taking action both internally and externally
At the start of the pandemic, e-Emphasys acted quickly and effectively. As a global company, many of our employees travel to meet with clients all across the country and the world. However, the health and safety of our employees took precedent and our leadership team made the call to return all employees home quickly to their families.
In a company wide release, the e-Emphasys founders, Milind Bagade, CEO, and Sayam Bagade, COO, shared their words of encouragement and hope:

In this time of slowed business, we have used this time to look inward on our business with the goal of strengthening and streamlining our business processes, improving our customer service and expanding our position as the industry leader in research and development.

We are assisting our customers with issues that may arise as a result of the current situation including added security measures, guidance on virus/spam protection and firewalls, and assisting with setting up notifications to ensure disk space availability, processing power, memory, etc.
To date, our Product and Consulting teams have created nearly twenty webinars strictly designed for our current customers. These webinars have ranged in topics from service and parts to finance and more. Based on an analysis of common questions asked by our customers, the webinar series provides additional training for end users and a platform for product experts to answer questions and provide guidance.
Moving forward and looking ahead
Dealerships are recognizing this time as an opportunity to improve processes and increase their operational efficiency. Even in this uncertain economic situation, some dealerships have recognized the benefits of the e-Emphasys Digital Transformation Platform and the increased ROI and operational efficiency improvements our customers report. We are thankful that we have been able to partner with forward thinking dealerships and add to our dealer network in the midst of this pandemic.
While the entire world is at a standstill due to COVID-19, e-Emphasys has developed innovative ways to continue moving forward with clients remotely. For some of our dealers, this pandemic came right in the middle of their implementation process. We are happy to announce that our implementation teams have adapted quickly and effectively to the ensure successful remote implementations.
